Title: Stueck fuer Klavier Nr. 2 (Bagatelle) Composer: Klaus Knopper (klaus@knopper.net) Format: 300dpi Postscript, 6 pages DinA4 or letter Description: Freetonal Piano Piece (with english comment) First Published: Ken Rich's ZUM Magazine URL: http://www.knopper.net/musik/ Technical remarks: Piano Piece 2 is one of my first typeset pieces. As is is quite difficult to remember the exact sequences of the chords in some parts, i need this written version to refresh my memory from time to time. The pedal assignments are only a hint. If you don't like, just ignore them! The piece works much with "colors" of chords and moves. There is a dance-like theme in the beginning, which develops into the soft broken chords in the right hand, later leading to the powerful, heavy but quick moving chords and clusters with octave accompaniment in the left hand. The "color" is created by the interaction between the clusters and the initial continuous theme, interfering melodical and rhythmical, leaving a dark harmonical atmosphere... K.K. 1994
